Tajá Luegéàzor Christian is actor, model and producer born and raised in Birmingham. Tajá grew up loving the arts and attended as many classes and workshops as possible, including CITV acting workshops and ballet classes. After studying acting at Birmingham Metropolitan college for three years, Taja fearlessly chose to take an alternative route and dove right into the industry with no drama school training.
Since then the actor has performed at theatres such as Derby Theatre, the Belgrade Theatre and Birmingham’s own REP theatre, to name a few. Tajá has also worked with theatre companies such as Tamasha on their book of monologues for POC with Titilola Dawudu Hear Me Now Vol. 2, filming projects with Strictly Arts theatre company and performances for Graeae, Talawa and Boundless theatre to name a few.
The starlet is making a strong crossover to streaming, television and voiceover. In 2022, Tajá made her soap debut on BBC’s Doctors and voiced Isabel for the Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power documentary. And in 2024, she was able to expand her talents into modelling under the Birmingham based agency, A.S. agency and gain new skills with the guidance of China Plate’s ‘The Optimist’ program as a producer and landing her first producing role this same year.
As a black woman with hidden disabilities, Tajá is passionate about producing and playing roles that give a voice to those who are forgotten or ignored in society, which gives purpose to her work. The creative also works within the arts to advocate for self-employed artists with disabilities.
